Nipsey was loved by many, and this is evident in the way the whole world celebrated him after his excruciating death. To many, the 33-year-old was more than a rapper. He was hope! Hussle wanted to do more for his community; he believed that people could do better and be better regardless of where they come from and what they've been through.

The late rapper was a force to reckon with, someone who had impacted so many lives at such a young age, and because of this, many will miss the legacy that he fought hard for.

So because of the good that Nipsey was and all the right that he did, rapper TI took to his Instagram page to question why it had to be him. Why Hussle had to die and he, on the other hand, had to live.

Tip in the post said he had been conflicted as to what to write and just couldn't think of the right thing to say. He likened himself to Nipsey, who like him was trying to help build and make the black community better.

"WHY HIM AND NOT ME?!?! What have I done so right that kept me here and removed him from his loved ones and extinguished his future? If GOD really wants US to fight on the front lines for the liberation of our own people then how is something like this supposed to contribute?" - Tip said.

The 38-year-old went on to speak about the late singer's family, he wrote:

"How do we look his wife, children,& parents in the eyes when WE ALL KNOW WE FAILED HIM!!!! Our culture killed Nip... the very thing he fought for turned right around and snatched him away from US."

He went on to chastise those who still think the primitive way of killing their fellow "niggas" is the right way and warned them to learn from history so as not to perish like "The Mafia."

Tip ended the emotional message with,

"WE ALL MISS YOU LIL BRO!!! Wish I could’ve done more. Now I question if it’s even worth trying. Woke up feeling like ?????‍♂️?"

Most of his fans responded positively to the message with many confessing they were moved to tears as they read the wise words written by the rapper.

Nipsey was shot six times in front of his clothing store on Sunday in LA. May his soul rest in peace!
