A couple’s new pet parrot just exposed the husband’s longtime secret to his wife.

Animals are pretty smart creatures -- especially parrots who can imitate words and phrases they hear. This particular parrot, who found a new home, just gave away the secret of a husband who just walked through the door.

A woman who wanted to get a pet for her daughters saw a big beautiful colorful parrot inside a cage that was priced at $50. Thinking that it was a reasonable price for the bird, she turned to the pet store owner and asked:

“Why is this parrot so cheap?”

The owner replied:

“Look, I should tell you first that this bird used to live in a brothel, and sometimes it says some pretty vulgar stuff.”

The woman looked at the bird and began to think, but ultimately decided that it wouldn’t be a problem and that she wanted the parrot for her kids. So, she bought the parrot, took it home, and hung it in her living room, waiting for it to speak.

The bird examined the room, looked at her, then said:

“Wow! New house, new madam.”

The woman was startled, yet amazed at what the bird said.

As her two daughters entered the door from school, the bird eyed them and said:

“Wow! New house, new madam, new girls.”

The mom and her kids were shocked, and a bit offended, but found it hilarious at the same time, given where the parrot came from.

Shortly after, the woman’s husband arrived from work. As he entered the door, the parrot looked at him and said:

“Wow! New house, new madam, new girls, but same old clients. Hi, Dave!”
