'It’s Scary and Sad': Khloé Kardashian in Disbelief that Baby True Is about to Hit the 1-Year Mark

Baby True will arrive at her first birthday anniversary on April 12, something that her celebrity mother finds hard to believe. It means that a year has also passed since Tristan Thompson’s infidelity surfaced.

34-year-old reality TV star Khloé Kardashian talked to People ahead of daughter True’s first birthday, and she opened up about how “scary” it is for her that her baby is growing up so fast.

But there is a positive side of this “fear” Kardashian feels, as it reminds her that she must treasure every minute spent with her first-born, a product of her now infamous relationship with NBA star Tristan Thompson.

“It’s so corny but you don’t realize how fast time goes by until you see a child growing in front of you. It’s scary and sad because it goes so fast. Can we slow down time?”

Kardashian seems to have parenting under control so far, despite her past natural fears a recent mother, and she is grateful to True because she makes it easier for her.

“I remember Kourtney and Kim telling me before she was born, ‘You’re never going to take a bath again!’ And it’s like, ‘What are they talking about? True is in bed at 7 p.m. every night!’ It’s honestly so rewarding and special,” Kardashian said.

The occasion also makes Kardashian look back proudly at her working on losing her pregnancy weight following the delivery of her child.

“I am so utterly obsessed with her. This first year has been amazing. And I really feel like I was meant to do this.”

“When I first started working out, I was like, ‘How the hell am I going to get through this?’ My body couldn’t keep up. But it was mind over matter,” she recalled.

After all is said and done, what matters now is that Kardashian is a happy mother and there is no need to panic, because, as they say, time flies when you are having a good time.

“I am so utterly obsessed with her. This first year has been amazing. And I really feel like I was meant to do this,” Kardashian concluded.

Not only did Kardashian share her feelings about her first year with True. She had previously taken to Twitter to reflect on her emotions surrounding her baby’s milestone.

“Is it weird that I think I’m having anxiety thinking True will be one on Friday?!?!” she tweeted on April 10.

“I’m sad Time is flying as fast as it is. I’ll be happy, of course, I simply can’t understand where the time goes. Thank you Lord for every moment. Bring me the tissue,” insisted Kardashian.

As for True’s father, 27-year-old Tristan Thompson, from whom Kardashian finally separated in February after a second cheating scandal, he has not seen his daughter for months and he is apparently in no rush to do so.

Thompson is not expected to show up for True’s birthday party on April 12, not exactly because of his busy schedule but rather because he is allegedly ashamed to face the Kardashian family.

“Tristan does not want to be there for the party because he does not want to get reamed all over again. He’s going to do what he always does, which is try to make up for missing out by buying True expensive gifts,” an insider told Radar.
