Kid Rock Shares Rare Photo of His Little Granddaughter

Kid Rock, 48, became a grandpa when he was only 43. The American singer shared a heartwarming picture of him and his adorable granddaughter Skye from Disney on his Instagram account.

The priceless picture features a happy Kid Rock with his granddaughter smiling alongside him. Skye was born to his son Robert James Ritchie Jr., who was in his early twenties during the time.

“Does not get any better than Disney World with your granddaughter! Thank you to Ray and all who helped make it such a special day. #Blessed - Kid Rock,” he wrote.

Kid Rock adores his granddaughter and stays close to her home in Tennessee. His hometown is in Detroit but ever since his son Bobby and Skye moved to Tennessee, he likes to stay close to them.

“[I’m spending] a lot more time now that my son is here and my granddaughter,” he told a source.

Kid Rock surely loves being a granddad and spends a lot of time together with Skye, which is evident by his frequent social media posts featuring her.

The duo jetted down to Disney World for a fun vacation together. Looking at the photograph, it is clear that they had a pretty good time.

Kid Rock went professional with his music in 1990 but it wasn’t until 1998 that he gained popularity for his sings. He has sold over 35 million records worldwide, with 25 million record sales in the US alone.

Born in Romeo, Michigan, Kid Rock loved hip hop from an early age and even joined a breakdance crew when he was 11-years-old. He became a part of a rap group called “The Beast Crew” when he was a teenager and ultimately landed his first record deal with Jive Records in 1988.

In 2006, the singer married Baywatch TV star and model, Pamela Anderson. Sadly, the marriage lasted only a few months. Previously, the star had dated Kelly South Russell, who is the mother of their only son Robert Ritchie Jr. Their relationship lasted almost three years.
