Charlize Theron Accused of Child Abuse after Trans Child News

Charlize Theron is facing increased backlash and now being accused of child abuse for raising her adopted son as a girl.

People are coming with intense criticism against the actress who raised suspicion that she was raising a transgender child long before it was confirmed earlier this month.

In a recent interview, the 43-year-old said that at just three years old, her adopted child Jackson looked her in the eye and said, "I am not a boy." Since then, the child has been spotted in dresses, skirts, and wearing long braids.

She said:

"I have two beautiful daughters who, just like any other parent, I want to protect and want to see thrive. They were born who they are and exactly where in the world both of them get to find themselves as they grow up, and who they want to be, is not for me to decide."

Critics wouldn't have it, with one person saying that the actress "should be arrested for child abuse! To declare her child is a transgender shouldn’t be a celebration of her progressivism, instead, she needs treatment in a mental asylum for insanity! She failed as a parent! Repulsive!"

Some people are not so much transphobic as they are worried about what was done at such a young age when children are still growing mentally.

One person named Bonnie Luhman asked:

"Can kids even think of things like that plus form proper sentences at Three? Asking for a friend..."

There were, however, many who called the actions of Theron an outright example of child abuse.

"Hope authorities take your kid away for child abuse. Irresponsible parenting and should not have a kid. You have ruined his life due to your snowflake ridiculous logic."

Another asserted:

"I'm against 'parents' that decide the gender of their kids because it's the 'in' thing to do and they can't get enough attention. For you to think this is not happening is to be completely naive. It's child abuse in the worst degree."

Life Site News also reported in critic of Theron's stance with her child, explaining that at three children rarely know what they're talking about. It's our job to guide them and help them to navigate through the world.

It's also worth noting that children often declare themselves to be animals, unicorns, and other creatures regardless of reality. In that situation, what should be done then?

Theron also has supporters who are elated about the steps she's taken to raise her child as a girl. The longtime LGBT supporter received her share of praised amidst all the backlash.

Her actions are not surprising to the community who heard her say in 2012 that she would not be getting married until the law allowed same-sex marriage.

After she confirmed how she was raising her child, Theron was spotted dropping Jackson off at what looked like a music lesson in Los Angeles. The child wore a white t-shirt, grey skirt, and black leggings.
