Kate Middleton’s Brother James Reportedly Gets Dragged for Trying to Cash in on Baby Archie
Everyone is understandably excited about the arrival of the newest royal baby, Archie. Kate Middleton’s brother may have taken this excitement to another level as many believe he was trying to cash in on Baby Sussex' birth in his new email campaign.
James Middleton, brother to the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton may have irked some people with his email campaign for his company Boomf.
Many believe that the email was improper and that James was taking undue advantage of his relationship with Baby Archie to market and sell his company products.
The email was sent to numerous customers of the company about three days after the birth of Baby Archie and contained references to the royal baby as well as loads of jokes.
In the email, James attested to the fact that it was a royally exciting week to become a new parent and winking, a somewhat clear reference to the new royal baby. He then went on to talk about Boomf’s confetti products and how much beneficial it would be if newborns are showered with them.
The email also had a video clip which displayed some of the confetti products with a mother and her two kids. Other products were also advertised in the video clip.
Many who commented on the email and its contents shared the same level of displeasure towards it. Many of such commentators which include Royal commentators believe it had a poor taste and was a cheap attempt at publicity.
They also felt that James being a family member to Baby Sussex, should not engage in such. James' attempt to seek a market for his products through the email may be connected to his company’s dwindling fortunes as Boomf continues to post losses yearly.
However, his actions may not have been taken negatively by Prince Harry as the two were seen in together at the wedding of Lady Gabriella Windsor. He also stated that he was not cashing in on Baby Archie, but merely celebrating.
James recently revealed how he battled with depression, which affected his mental health. He explained that the feeling worsened every night, and he found it hard to tell anyone what he was going through.
James was diagnosed with Attention Deficit Disorder last year, and knowledge of that made him understand his personality and also made him know how to handle himself better.
