Tasha Smith Is Dating Michael K. Williams & They Just Made It Instagram Official

Tasha Smith and Michael K. Williams are now taking their relationship to the next level by sharing photos of themselves on social media for their friends and fans to see.

Tasha Smith of "Empire" has lived quite an interesting life, having undergone a lot of challenges throughout the years. After separating from her husband Keith Douglas, who ended up being a fraud, Smith is now ready to give love another chance, this time with Michael.

After finding out that her ex-husband was a scammer and that their three-year marriage was a sham, Tasha said that for all her future love interests, she would first require a background check. She felt this was necessary after the judge found out that her ex-husband had been married five times before, had a criminal past, and fathered a number of children.

However, now that she's dating someone from the industry, Tasha might have let that pass, especially since she claims nothing makes her happier than being with Michael.

This weekend, the happy couple debuted one another on Instagram, and her caption read:

"Nothing makes me happier!!!! The love Of my life @bkbmg this man gives me goose bumps!!!!!"

Meanwhile, Michael has shared numerous photos of the two of them looking happier than ever, just enjoying what life has to offer with each other's company.

"The love is real!"

Just a month ago, Tasha Smith revealed that before getting her big break on "Empire," she was once struggling financially that she had to become a stripper.

Tasha revealed that she has nothing but respect for strippers, as she, too, worked as one before. When she couldn't make ends meet, she worked as a stripper at night, and a comedian by day. That is why for her, she has nothing but respect for the women who do that for a living.

During her uncensored interview with Ebony, she revealed that she is not afraid of who she is and what she's done because she needed to survive.

“It’s who I am…I’m black, I’m proud, I’m from Camden, New Jersey, I’ve gone through a rough life, I’ve had rough experiences. I’m where I am today, I encourage and empower other people. I have a testimony that helps inspire other people and you, know, it’s just what it is.”

Regarding her past as a stripper, she revealed that she would bounce from a comedy club to the strip club to work, which was something she needed to do to survive.

"I would go from the comedy club, to the strip club, do a quick 3-4 hour set…go back to the strip club.… So it was just a way that I was just surviving.”

Now, Tasha is living comfortably as an actress, and is happy with the love of her life!
