Amy Roloff Reportedly Claims in a New Book That Matt 'Betrayed' Her before They Broke up
In her new book, Amy Roloff accuses her ex-husband Matt Roloff of having an affair before their relationship ended and called him “strong” and “domineering.”
Amy Roloff spills the tea about her failed marriage with Matt Roloff in her new memoir, “A Little Me.” The “Little People Big World” star revealed how her husband disregarded how she felt and was sometimes behind her low self-esteem.
BAD ATTITUDE
Roloff recalls how she felt “less than” around Matt, although she remains unsure if Matt’s “lack of compassion” and “businesslike attitude” was something he did purposely or unknowingly.
“His words stayed in my mind and played with my emotions, and I sometimes became intimidated by Matt with his strong and domineering personality,” she wrote. “I just didn’t get the support and encouragement.”
Her voice remained small when it came to running their family business, often getting shut down when new ideas came to mind. Matt’s controlling attitude drove him to have no trust in others, including the filming crew as the production of their show was more important than the family, as what he showed.
The “Little People Big World” patriarch took to Instagram to explain and clarify the “future of the farm” after different assumptions turned into rumors.
INFIDELITY
The Roloff matriarch also suggested that Matt and Caryn Chandler, a former business employee, had an affair even before their marriage came to an end. As what the media showed, Matt only started dating Chandler after the split.
“I saw messages, pictures, and other things that should not have been shared between people who just worked together and were still married to other people,” she wrote. “I was devastated.”
MATT SPEAKS UP
While Matt is yet to address the allegations, he recently spoke about the rumors of Roloff buying out his farm. The “Little People Big World” patriarch took to Instagram to explain and clarify the “future of the farm” after different assumptions turned into rumors.
Roloff will occupy her house on the farm and will still have a 50 percent ownership in the estate until the day she decides otherwise; only then will the former couple be working together to sell her side of the farm.
As for the famous Pumpkin Season, Matt assured fans and visitors that the farm will still be open for the anticipated event which usually happens throughout October.
