Cam'ron's Rumored Girlfriend Tawasa Harris Reportedly Passes Away

Cam'ron's rumored girlfriend and baby mama, Tawasa Harris, has reportedly died. The rapper is yet to address Harris's death, but some of her close friends have been posting heartbreaking tributes via social media.

Harris and Cam'ron (birth name Cameron Giles) have reportedly known each other since middle school, but the former was hardly ever in the spotlight alongside her partner.

On Thursday, November 21, a Facebook user who appears to have been Harris's close friend, took to the platform with her photos and heartbreaking words.

The New York entertainer described her as a diligent student and credited her for being the reason their son, Cameron Ezike Giles Jr., graduated high school

"R.i.p Tawasa," Latanya Marie wrote. "I didn’t sleep all night bc of all the old memories that kept poppin in my head of all the fun times we all had back in early 80’w/ my Cousin Tresha (r.i.p)."

She continued:

"How she would bring me down the bottom to your house and we would go up to Southwest Philly It was my first introduction to the fast life a.k.a the streets. You definitely lived by the words 'Fly 2 I die.' Say Hello to Tree 4 me in heaven."

As Heavy noted, another friend to Harris appeared to confirm the sad news via Instagram. The friend posted a video montage made up of past moments with Harris alongside a touching tribute.

So far, there have been no further details about the circumstances of Harris's death.

While Cam'ron has not spoken about Harris's death, Bossip reported that the duo sparked rumors of reconciliation earlier this year, implying that they rekindled their romance two decades after initially dating.

According to the outlet, Cam'ron broke up with his "Love & Hip Hop" star girlfriend, Juju, in 2017. He reportedly claimed the breakup happened because their relationship was no longer fun.

Last year, Cam'ron paid tribute to Harris in a lengthy Instagram post, narrating how they met and began dating when he was in 7th grade, and she was in the 8th.

The New York entertainer described her as a diligent student and credited her for being the reason their son, Cameron Ezike Giles Jr., graduated high school with "5 full academic scholarship offers."

The post also included a video of Cam'ron and Cameron Jr. surprising Harris with a range rover at the latter's graduation.
