Fantasia's Grown Daughter Zion Flaunts Long Hair, Posing in All-Black Outfit near Fireplace

The 18-year-old daughter of American singer, Fantasia shows off her long black hair in a new post on her Instagram page.

On December 13, Fantasia's first child took to her Instagram page to put up a post of herself. The post contained two pictures. In one of the photographs, Zion, without any footwear on, is seated beside a fireplace looking straight ahead.

In the other picture, her legs are crossed with her bare feet on the ground as she turned toward the fireplace backing the camera. In both pictures, she looks pretty in her all-black outfit showing off her long black hair.

Zion turned 18 in August and her mother, Fantasia seems to be having a hard time believing that her baby girl is now legal. On the day after Zion's birthday, Fantasia took to her Instagram page to post a picture of Zion as a little girl. She captioned the post:

"I love you, baby girl. Having a hard time with this 18 thing, have a blast tonight and remember always walk with class."

Fantasia had a lot to say about Zion as she captioned some of the post with a very long write-up.

She took her followers down memory lane, sharing some of Zion's experiences as a toddler and several happy moments she had with Zion, which she would never forget. She continued,

"Zion, You changed my life, you made all things right and at the time when most thought it was the End-for me when I became pregnant."

The adorable little Zion, who used to walk the red carpet with her mom and follow her on stage while she was a contestant on American Idol, is not a kid anymore. Earlier this year, Zion graduated from high school.

Her proud mom took to her Instagram page to post a picture showing how proud she was of Zion. She also posted another photo of Zion and some friends with the caption:

"Zion, You changed my life, you made all things right and at the time when most thought it was the End-for me when I became pregnant. It was really the beginning of a Beautiful Journey, and now Look at 'you' look at that smile."

At the age of 16, Fantasia dropped out of high school. She decided to follow her dreams as a singer to enable her to provide a better life for herself and her daughter.

The American singer and her baby daddy, Brandel Shouse, split years ago. Brandel and Fantasia were high school sweethearts, but he was abusive.

Although now, they seem to have made peace and moved on with co-parenting their daughter, the former couple once had a clash over the custody of their child.

In 2014, it was reported that Brandel sued for custody, claiming that he was a better parent and should be made the primary parent of the then 13-year-old Zion. Fantasia could not disagree more.

She said Brandel never cared for or built a relationship with his daughter, and he was nothing but a deadbeat sperm donor. She also said he had never even chipped in financially and so she decided to claim for child support.
