Jerry O'Connell, Sabrina Lloyd & Rest of 'Sliders' Cast through the Years
Twenty years after the series "Sliders" ended, those who brought the characters to life have gone on to have wonderful lives of their own. Below is a glimpse into the life of the cast of "Sliders."
Many would remember the TV series "Sliders" for its storyline about a young boy, his friends, and mentor who tried to navigate the different realms of the universe by sliding through different portals.
The series, which lasted for five seasons, had quite the cast, and after it ended in 2000, most of the cast members went on to have fulfilling careers and budding personal lives. Here is a glimpse into the cast of "Sliders" through the years.
JERRY O'CONNELL
Jerry played the role of Quinn Mallory in the series. The teenager who tried to navigate through various realms to find his way home has created a beautiful life for himself after the show.
Getting married in 2007 to Rebecca Romijn, the couple have twin girls who keep them busy and on their toes. Aside from having such a beautiful family, Jerry also has a buoyant career.
He has gone on to stare in various shows such as "Crossing Jordan," "We are men," "Defenders," among others. After the show, Jerry has done well for himself in his personal and career life.
CLEAVANT DERRICKS
Also known as the Crying Man, Cleavant played the role of Rembrandt Brown in the series. He was the only character in the series to last through the whole five seasons as others dropped off along the way.
The team could come back for a remake of the series
Cleavant, who was a singer before the role of Rembrandt, went right back to singing after the series ended. He won a Tony Award and Drama Desk Award for his role of "Jame Thunder Early" in the movie "Dreamgirls."

SABRINA LLYOD
Sabrina played the role of Wade Wellis, Quinn's witty, smart friend. Although she left the show after the third season, Sabrina went on to feature in movies and series such as "Numb3rs" and ABC Sitcom "Stormy Nights."
She also took a break from acting to attend university. In 2005, she enrolled at Columbia University, and after finishing, she spent some time in Africa, where she lived in Uganda for two years.
Sabrina got married to Ross Smith and adopted a girl from Uganda, after which she moved to Rome and stayed for another four years.
JOHN RHYS DAVIES
John played the role of Professor Maximillian Arturo in "Sliders." His character served as a mentor to Quinn, and he encouraged the young lad on his adventures throughout the series.
Following his stint on the series, John went on to have bigger success with the character of "Gimli" in "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. It was through this character he would meet his future wife.

John's personal life might not be as smooth as his career path, but he has been able to maintain his personal life with the help of his partner Lisa Manning.
Although it is not certain that there would be a reboot of "Sliders," Jerry O'Connell once hinted at it, stating that perhaps the team could come back for a remake of the series if a network picked it.
