Nick Cannon from 'Masked Singer' Discusses If It's Good Idea to Live with Someone before Marriage & Fans Weigh In

Nick Cannon and his crew on the “Nick Cannon Mornings” show had a heated argument about relationships and wanted fans to weigh in on how good or bad it was to live with someone before marriage.

There are no set rules for the institution of marriage. What works for one person might not work for another, hence, safely establishing that there are different strokes for different folks in marriage.

Nick Cannon and his crew on “Nick Cannon Mornings” discussed if it is a good idea for a person to live with their partner before marriage, and there have been many comments by fans who have different opinions to share.

WHAT THE CREW THINKS

In a 2-minute video shared on Instagram, crew members of the “Nick Cannon Mornings” can be seen and heard arguing about how good or bad it was for partners to live together before marriage. Nick Cannon himself expressed his disagreement saying:

“All I am saying is that I don’t think it is a good idea to live with a person before marriage. I have been there, and I don’t think It is good.”

On the other hand, Teddy Mora, a member of Nick’s crew, disagreed with Nick stating that it was a good idea to live with one’s partner as it made a person prepared for what they were going to get in the marriage. Melissa, the third crew member, however, agreed with Nick, saying it was a bad idea.

SOME SAY IT’S A GOOD IDEA

Taking to the comments section, people expressed their thoughts on how living with a partner before marriage was a good idea. A person indicated that it helped the people involved know what they are getting into upfront.

Nick would choose to marry Mariah again in a heartbeat.

Another user expressed that it was good to live with one’s partner before getting married, as this allows you to know if they fit the specific requirements you have. Someone also expressed that living with a partner helps a person to know their partner honestly.

SOME SAY IT’S A BAD IDEA

Seeing that no two individuals are the same, some expressed that living with one’s partner was a bad idea and should not be tolerated. One person commented, saying:

"I say absolutely not! Been there and done that. Sometimes people become comfortable and then complacent, not wanting to move forward."

Others were in agreement with the opinion above, and one person said that due to their beliefs and the stress that comes if they break up, living with a partner before marriage is not a good idea.

NICK’S RELATIONSHIP

It is no wonder that Nick is not a fan of such an arrangement. The father of two, who had been married before to sensational singer Mariah Carey, once expressed that he barely survived the divorce from his wife.

Due to how he felt after their divorce, the “Wild N Out” host said that he did not like the constraints and rules that came with marriage.

Interestingly, the 39-year-old revealed that if he had to go through marriage again, he would choose to marry Mariah again in a heartbeat.

While nobody has a monopoly on what works and what doesn’t, it is best to do the right thing that suits your relationship.
