OJ Simpson’s reaction to an alleged murder depicted on the TV show, “Tiger King” had some people thinking, “it takes one to know one.”

Simpson recently took to Twitter to air his opinion about the Netflix show and weighed in on the mystery surrounding the death of Carol Baskin’s ex-husband, Don Lewis. A theory proposed in the show was that the big cat activist murdered Lewis and fed him to the tigers.

HOW SIMPSON SEES IT

Although Simpson admitted the show was “crazy” but crazy enough for him to keep watching, he had a definite assessment of what really happened to Lewis. According to the former convict who was once accused of murdering his own wife,

“There’s not a shred of doubt in my mind that the lady’s husband is tiger sashimi right now…I’m just saying.”

THE IRONY OF HIS COMMENT

Simpson's startling comment drew people to Twitter and urged them to point out the irony of it. And in The Shade Room's repost of Simpson's clip, one comment read, “A killer knows a killer!!!” Another supposed, “Yeah, he would know.”

In 2007, an armed robbery and kidnapping incident involving Simpson landed him in prison. He was sentenced to 33 years but was released on parole ten years later.

Back in 1995, Simpson was accused of the gruesome murder of his wife, Nicole Simpson and her friend, Ron Goldman. However, during what was known as the “trial of the century,” the former NFL star was famously acquitted. Decades later, many still believe he was guilty of the crime.

GOLD LIFE AFTER PRISON

Since his release, Simpson has been living in Las Vegas where he frequents the golf course. In fact, his recent tweet about “Tiger King” was filmed after a game of golf. Simpson recently expressed his concern over golf courses closing due to the threat of the Coronavirus.

He admitted in a tweet last month that he would “go crazy” without playing for a month. He also said he understood why it has to be done though he suggested implementing heightened safety measures instead to keep the courses open.

It would seem like Simpson's plea was heard as he continues to play golf in spite of the imposed quarantine measures in the country. He seems to be taking his own precautions wearing blue hospital gloves while playing.

Incidentally, the gloves are a bizarre reminder of the famous gloves he was made to fit during his murder trial which vitally led to his acquittal.
