Kelly Ripa Says Son Michael Consuelos Got a Job on Her Show
Kelly Ripa's commitment to her family through the years has been an inspiration. Now, she's also helping her son to find a career path.
In a recent episode of her show, "Live with Kelly and Ryan," the TV show host confirmed that she had gotten her son, Michael Consuelos, a job.
The reveal came while she was speaking with her co-host, Ryan Seacrest, about managing children amid the self-isolation. Ryan pointed out that children can connect with their friends via video games and several online platforms.

Kelly agreed, explaining that she had noticed her children enjoying themselves. Then, Ryan asked whether Michael had also developed the habit of gaming.
Replying, Kelly confirmed that Michael had actually been producing her end of the show. Clarifying, she added:
"So he really is sort of working while he's finishing because he's set to 'graduate' from college."
She added that she had been encouraging him. Amongst other things, she pointed out that he had achieved something rare – getting a job before graduating college.
Ryan chimed in, confirming that he had seen Michael set up before the show started. Michael, who appeared to be behind Kelly's camera, then sent Ryan a message that he wasn't enjoying the quarantine life.
People have come to find that Kelly adores the men in her life.
Kelly and Michael got into a little bit of controversy recently. Last October, she said on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" that Michael lived in "extreme poverty" after moving out of the house.
The statement didn't go too well with fans, and Kelly went on social media to respond to the critics. In part, she explained:
"Michael goes to college and is a senior and works full time. He is in his first non parent subsidized apt with roommates. I'm used to getting a lot of slack because people love to..."
The 22-year-old is a student at New York University. He also appears to be working his way through the university's film school.
Whether or not what she said was right, people have come to find that Kelly adores the men in her life. She's even spoken extensively about her husband, Mark, and Michael on several occasions.
Last December, Kelly shared a sweet snap of Mark and Michael on Instagram, calling them both her man crushes. The shot showed both men smiling broadly as they were on the set of a cooking segment at Kelly's show.
