'The Voice' Crowns Season 18 Winner – Meet Mississippi Pastor Todd Tilghman
"NBC" "The Voice" just came to an end, and quite interestingly, a pastor, Todd Tilghman, was crowned the winner of the show's eighteenth season.
Todd's victory is tagged interesting because he also happened to be the first contestant who auditioned on this season of the show. In a video shared on NBC's Instagram page, all of the finalists were surrounded by members of their family who supported during the virtual episode.

More specifically, Tilghman was surrounded by his wife and the couple's children together. After the host, Carson Daly declared him the winner, Todd's family was seen in a celebratory mood as they screamed and leaped in joy.
Blake Shelton, who has coached Todd through the season, also celebrated his contestant's victory. He even got a kiss from his beau, Gwen Stefani, who celebrated alongside the singer.
With Todd's recent victory, fans and lovers of the 41-year-old might be interested in knowing more about their favorite contestant, so here are exciting things to know about Todd Tilghman.
A MISSISSIPPI PASTOR
Todd is not only a great singer, but he also doubles as a great Christian leader. During his blind audition, Tilghman revealed that he served as the lead pastor for "Cornerstone Church," a church located in Mississippi.
While this might come as a surprise, it was quite understandable that Todd had formerly sung at church. There's no doubt that this middle-aged man has blessed his congregation over the years!
A HIGH SCHOOL LOVE STORY
Before the finale episode of "The Voice," Tilghman's wife, Brooke, opened up about her love story with the singer. In an Instagram post, the mother of eight revealed that they had been together since they were young.
Brooke also explained that despite what many said, she and Todd always believed they would end up together. She wrote: "We chose not to listen to most of the more logical folks ?and go after some of the wildest things and guess what....they ALL came true."
HIS SON WAS ON NBC'S "MAKING IT"
Before Tilghman competed on the just concluded singing show, his eldest child, Eagan, had also appeared on another reality show, "Making It."
The 20-year man rose to the spotlight in 2017 after he dressed up his little brother as a character from the hit horror film "IT." Although Todd's win was a significant highlight in the final episode, there were also other remarkable moments from the show.
With CeeLo Green, Shakira, and Bebe Rexha opening the show with an energetic performance of Pete Townshend's "Let My Love Open The Door," and John Legend's soulful rendition of " Where Every Knows Your name," fans were treated to a fantastic season finale.
