See How Comedian Kym Whitley Celebrated Her 59th Birthday
Comedian Kym Whitley just turned 59-years-old and she looks fantastic in a photo shared on her social media of herself wearing a crown.
On your birthday, you deserve to feel like a queen and Kym Whitley certainly looks the part in her latest photo celebrating turning 59 years old. The comedian shared a photo of herself wearing a crown as she wished herself a happy birthday and she looked beautiful.
In the post, Whitley reflected on the past year and expressed her gratitude for how far she had come as well as thanking her fans. She also asked fans to protect themselves by wearing masks during the coronavirus pandemic. Whitley added:
"Life is precious and I respect every moment God has given me! This birthday will be one to remember for sure 2020 has been a horrible year for us all. Love harder,deeper and faster."
Last year Whitley let fans into her home when she gave a tour of her favorite room showing off her den/living room. The beautiful room serves as a gathering spot for the actress, including a chocolate suede couch with a television mounted above a red-brick fireplace.
She made the star the legal guardian of her son, to stop him from being put into the system.
In addition to a successful career which includes, "Curb Your Enthusiasm" and "Next Friday," fans have also seen her in "Raising Whitley" which shows her becoming a mother through adoption.
Whitley had been mentoring a woman and after giving birth, the woman made the star the legal guardian of her son to stop him from being put into the system. During an episode of the show, the comedian thanked the unknown woman saying:
"She gave me something that I couldn't imagine my life without. So I thank her because if I had to give Joshua up, I don't think I could live."
Earlier this year, Whitley was named a Weight Watchers brand ambassador, sharing that she had already lost 11 pounds and wanted to inspire others.
She added that she had joined the program so that she could become healthier, not only for herself but for her son as well.
The relationship between the mother and son is beautiful to see, and a sneak peek of the show showed her dealing with the cancellation of her show "Animal Practice."
She shared that it had taken a village to support her son who could not be bothered whether his mum works or not in the sweet clip.
