Nelly’s girlfriend, Shantel Jackson, recently posted a photo and a video from her daytime swim, showing her braids and swimwear.

Nelly’s girlfriend, Shantel Jackson, gave fans a glimpse of her daytime activity on Instagram, basking under the shining sun.

The actress consecutively posted a photo and a video on Instagram, flaunting her long braided hair and one-piece swimwear.

TAKING A DIP

Jackson posed for a selfie while half-submerged in the pool, showing her long eyelashes which was done by Fanci Goods.

Her video captured her braids from the back to the front as she sat on the edge of the pool. She showed off her tiny waist in a black one-shoulder swimwear accessorized with "Waist Beads.”

Several fans and followers complimented her on the comments section, including one who said: “its tha different type of fine for me.”

NELLY’S LEGAL TROUBLE

Jackson is Nelly’s longtime girlfriend who previously defended him after being arrested on suspicion of raping a Monique Greene on a tour bus.

Sadly, they could not find a suitable donor and on March 24, 2005, Donahue passed away.

Not long after the case was dropped, Greene’s attorney revealed that two other women claimed to have been sexually assaulted by the singer.

JACKSON DEFENDS NELLY

Jackson was quick to defend her beau stating that she was with him during the reported times of the alleged assault. She said:

“I was at those venues, in the dressing rooms, and on that tour bus. There are women dealing with real issues of sexual assault and for the first time people are listening and there is a chance for real change.”

Nelly is a father of two, Chanelle and Cornell, whom he had from his previous relationships. He also cares for his niece and nephew, Sydney and Shawn, after their mother, Jackie Donahue, passed away in 2005.

Donahue is Nelly’s half-sister, stylist, and best friend. They had the same father and grew up in different households. However, the older they grew, the closer they became.

In 2001, she was diagnosed with acute myelogenous leukemia. Two years later, doctors claimed that she needed a bone marrow transplant to have a higher chance of survival.

Sadly, they could not find a suitable donor and on March 24, 2005, Donahue passed away. Nelly was her rock during the last years, telling her to hold on and think positively.

He was also the last person she called before taking her last breath. Their close bond will always be embedded in the singer’s heart, especially now that he took her kids under his wing.
