In the comments section, fans could not help but point out the uncanny resemblance the father-son duo shares. One fan observed, "Wow, the identical..except Mom's eyes..very handsome young man."
Parker and Kodjoe have been married for more than a decade and they have shown no signs of stopping anytime soon. Their relationship began when they met while working on "Soul Food."
The pair had played lovers on the Showtime series, and though Parker had initially thought they would shoot a few scenes together and end things, fate had other plans. The two entertainers both found that it was easy for them to have a conversation and enjoyed each other's company, so they hit it off.
Parker goes all out to make sure her kids are comfortable enough to discuss anything with her.
Not long after they met, Kodjoe's character was written off the show and their relationship had to become long-distance. Despite the distance, the pair kept the love at an all-time high and it was all the confirmation they needed to take things to the next level.
When the pair were asked about the secret of their long-lasting relationship, Kodjoe admitted that it was partly because they knew how to respect each other and would always avoid doing anything to embarrass anyone in the family.
He also added that they try to make the right decisions as much as possible while leaving room for mistakes– they are both only human, after all.
When it comes to raising the kids, Parker goes all out to make sure her kids are comfortable enough to discuss anything with her. She not only urges her children to tell her about questions they have; the proud mother makes sure she remains candid with them.
Parker believes the exploratory age for kids is between ages 13 and 15, so she is doing all she can to make sure her kids, Sophie, 13, and Nicholas, 12, can tell her things when they begin to explore.
Even though their kids are still young, Parker and Kodjoe are already laying down an excellent blueprint to guarantee that their children know what a healthy marriage is.
