However, they knew it was going to be a tropical getaway. The "Revenge Body" star described the surprise celebration as the coolest experience. When asked about how Kim got into trouble for the birthday, she noted that she heard that people were angry that they went out of town. Coming to her older sister's defense, Khloé said:

"This year is a frustrating year, I get it. I think there's so many frustrations going on for everybody. But also it's her 40th, and this is something that she wanted to do for us; it was such a nice thing."

The 36-year-old maintained that everyone at the island took safety precautions and that the hosts felt grateful for their presence as they were the first set of party guests they have had in months.

[Khloé] recently made headlines when a teaser clip from October 29's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19.

Khloé noted that their presence granted the island staff the chance to pay their bills, and for that, they felt appreciative. Khloé concluded, assuring fans that they did the party in the safest way possible.

She then mentioned that she wants her sister to focus on the beauty of the celebration and the nice gesture rather than allow the hate to overshadow the wonderful experience they had.

Khloé mentioned that Kylie was the only family member that didn't join the birthday bash as she was away on some work duty. The mother-of-one recently made headlines when a teaser clip from October 29's episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians" revealed that she tested positive for COVID-19 earlier this year.

The reality star battled severe symptoms like migraine, vomiting, chills, and intense coughs with chest pains. She had to quarantine in her room away from the rest of the family, including her daughter, True.

It was a difficult time for the reality star as she hated being away from her baby girl, but she was able to feel comforted because True's father, Tristan Thompson, was present.

He didn't only take care of their daughter but also tended to a sick Khloé. He brought her breakfast, lunch, and dinner and attended to her needs even if he lived away from her.
