One fan believes the movie should have been produced a few years from now, adding that Williams would have more story to tell by then.

Another YouTube user commented that she does not like Ciera Payton, who acts as Williams in the upcoming movie. A third user who seemed to share similar sentiments wrote:

"I'll watch it for the main story, but they could have done a better job with casting the main character."

Some other people, however, could not hide their excitement about the upcoming movie, with one user saying even though the actress could have done a better job imitating Willaims's voice, she looks good for the role regardless.

Another excited user commented that she was already choosing snacks ahead for when the movie would finally be available to watch.

"Wendy Williams: The Movie" also features other movie stars including Morocco Omari who acts as Williams's ex-husband.

The highly anticipated movie will explore Williams' personal life, her rise to fame from a radio star to the launch of her daily talk show, "The Wendy Williams Show."

Though it is largely centered around her fame and power as a television icon, it also gives fans a look into her struggles with substance abuse and events leading to her split from ex-husband Kevin Hunter.

Williams and Hunter tied the knot in 1997 and were together for over two decades before the television personality filed for divorce in April 2019 following a cheating scandal.

Earlier this year, Williams and Hunter finalized their divorce process, with both of them reportedly letting go of alimony and reaching favorable conclusions about their joint properties.

In addition to Payton, "Wendy Williams: The Movie" also features other movie stars including Morocco Omari, who acts as Williams's ex-husband.

The highly anticipated movie is slated to premiere on January 30, 2021, and while some fans are not looking forward to it, others certainly cannot wait!
