A dangerous animal managed to make its way into a car located in a residential area. Local officers surrounded the vehicle with guns, with everyone holding their breath, unsure of what would happen next.

The Garfield County Sheriff's Office of Colorado took to Facebook to share a video of a mother bear that, during the night, got stuck in a vehicle while attempting to steal food. The wild animal completely demolished the automobile upon exiting.

The clip showed an officer quickly opening the car door so that the bear could escape. He then carefully retreated, pointing his gun at the open door, assumably in case of attack.

The bear quickly ran out of the vehicle towards a tree where her cubs were waiting across the road. The post partially read:

"The bear did so much damage to the inside of the car that Deputy Zipf could not let it out through the back sliding car doors."

Consequently, it said, the only way they could let the animal out was through the driver's door. The office reported that they failed on their first try as the bear shut herself in.

However, their post read that they eventually let her out and transported her and her babies outside of the area. There have been no reports of injuries.

The...ranger revealed on Facebook that the mother of the little one refused to leave her child's body.

The office also shared pictures of the inside of the broken vehicle in the Facebook comments. The door, ceiling, and driver's chair were all completely broken.

The post received many reactions, with a lot of individuals using the shocked emoji. Many commentators remarked on what a great job the Garfield County Sheriff's Office had done with one writing:

"Thank you Deputy Zipf for making sure that this Mama Bear got reunited with her cubs."

A significant number of viewers found the incident to be hilarious, with some sharing funny memes. Others were grateful for the reminder not to leave food in their car when living in neighborhoods close to wild animals.

Fortunately, no one was hurt during this interaction between human and bear. Tragically, this isn't always the reality, with a heartsore ranger recently sharing a story about finding a dead cub hit by a car.

The Yosemite National Park ranger revealed on Facebook that the mother of the little one refused to leave her child's body. He pleaded that visitors obey the speed limit -- this being only one of the deceased bears he has come across.

Over 400 were hit in the park between 1995 and 2019. Hopefully, the human race can keep these violent interactions to a minimum so all bears can live out their natural lives.
