“Dance Monkey” singer Tones And I is dancing to the beat of an entirely new drum after getting engaged to her boyfriend earlier this week.

The singer took to her Instagram page to announce the news by sharing a photo of the pair kissing and her holding up her bejeweled hand.

The post garnered many good wishes and a lot of excitement from both fans and fellow celebrities.

In July, Tones And I (whose real name is Toni Watson) revealed that she and her boyfriend, Jimmy Bedford, had been dating for about a year and a half, and she revealed that he was “the perfect person for [her].”

Bedford shared the same photo to his Instagram and said:

"2021 was a tough year for everyone but I ended mine with a yes, can’t wait for my best friend to be my wife. 💁‍♂️ 💍"
