Bridget Marquardt Once Tried to Contact the Late Hugh Hefner after He Visited Her in a Dream

Former "Girls Next Door" star Bridget Marquardt took her ex-boyfriend Hugh Hefner's passing hard when he died on September 27, 2017, and later tried to contact him through a seance.

Bridget Marquardt gained fame in the 2000s as one of Huge Hefner's three girlfriends, along with Kendra Wilkinson and Holly Madison on the reality TV show, "Girls Next Door," from 2004 to 2009.

After their break up in 2009, Marquardt continued to attend parties at the Playboy Mansion and maintained a friendship with the businessman. Hefner had told her the mansion was always open to visit if she wanted.

However, the former couple lost contact over the years. In 2017, a few months before Hefner's passing, Marquardt appeared on Australia's "The Morning Show" and shared an

on their relationship.

The "Bridget's Sexiest Beaches" host explained that after losing contact with Hefner, she had tried to go back to the mansion, but when she called, she got "the runaround" and did not know if she was allowed back to the villa.

Although she had not seen him in a while, Marquardt was heartbroken when he passed on September 27, 2012. At the time, she shared a photo of herself and her late boyfriend on Instagram and wrote:

"So sad but forever grateful for all the wonderful memories and amazing experiences #RIPHef #Playboy 💔"

After his death, Marquardt was still connected to Hefner as he appeared to her in a dream. The "Ghost Magnet with Bridget Marquardt" podcast host explained that she went to visit Hefner at the Playboy Mansion in her dream.

He came down the stairs and yelled "My darling" before hugging Marquardt. She recalled being able to smell his cologne, and she could feel the texture of his jacket.

With help from Madison and a psychic medium, Marquardt decided to put on a seance to contact Hefner so she could ask him whether the experience was a dream or if he had come to say goodbye.

On October 30, 2019, the seance took place at Madison's home. The reality stars streamed on Facebook Live, YouTube, and Instagram Live. It's unclear whether they were successful in contacting their late boyfriend.

It is fitting that Marquardt decided to try and contact Hefner's spirit because after her time as a "Girl Next Door," she turned to attention to the supernatural and became a paranormal investigator.

Marquardt's passions for the paranormal and ghost hunting started in her Playboy days as she even did an online course while living at the mansion and always had an interest in the industry.

Later in 2019, she launched her podcast "Ghost Magnet." Marquardt started documenting sharing videos on YouTube of her experiences with seances and artifacts of deceased people.

Besides finding a new passion and career after Playboy, Marquardt also found a new love. She is currently dating director Nicholas Carpenter. The couple got in engaged in 2015 and live in Sherman Oaks together.
