Bryce Dallas Howard was only 25 years old when she found herself pregnant with her first child. At that time, it had only been seven days since her wedding to Seth Gabel, making them both young and inexperienced.

However, the thought of becoming parents did not scare them as much as the reality they faced after welcoming their son, Theo.

Howard battled severe postpartum depression and was constantly pressured to be the best mother she could while quietly breaking down in tears. She recalled:

"For the sake of those around me, including my son, I pretended, but when I began showering again in the second week, I let loose in the privacy of the bathroom, water flowing over me as I heaved uncontrollable sobs."

With her husband's help, Howard got through the dark times and had a better pregnancy the second time around with her daughter, Beatrice.

WHO PLAYS VICTORIA IN "TWILIGHT?"

After becoming a parent, Howard continued to pursue an acting career and starred in known movies, including the "Twilight" saga.

As a professional actress, Howard had to gain 30 pounds to fulfill her role, showing her dedication to the craft. It wasn't an easy choice to make, given her bouts with weight fluctuations in the past.

Howard was already a familiar on-screen face because of her role in "Spider-Man 3" when she was chosen to replace Rachelle Lefevre as Victoria in the fictional film.

Lefevre reportedly left after the second installment, "New Moon," because of work schedule conflicts. Fortunately for Howard, "Eclipse" gave Victoria more screen time. Summit Entertainment producer, Erik Feig, said at that time:

"We are incredibly happy that Bryce has agreed to come into the franchise. Rachelle brought Victoria to great screen life, and Bryce will bring a new dimension to the character."

When the cameras stopped rolling, Howard admitted that she was actually on the side of her on-screen enemy, Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson). In fact, because of her admiration, Howard's brother-in-law gave her a notepad with Pattinson's face as a joke.

The "Twilight" saga became a worldwide phenomenon among fans who read the original story in Stephanie Meyer's novels and viewers who enjoyed watching the film solely. Although many hated Victoria, they couldn't deny that Howard performed excellently.

"Eclipse" is not Howard's only known film. She is also recognized for her role as Hilly Holbrook in the Oscar award-winning movie "The Help," alongside Viola Davis and Emma Stone.

In 2015, Howard became a cast member of "Jurassic World," bringing life to the character Claire. Howard also appeared on Netflix's "Black Mirror" as body image-obsessed Lacie.
