Gellar's big break came when she starred in "Swans Crossing" in 1992 and became known to movie lovers when she starred in "I Know What You Did Last Summer" and "Scream 2." She has since starred in many movies and is also a voice actress.

When Prinze and Gellar met on the set of "I Know What You Did Last Summer," they instantly connected and could talk about life, among other things, even though they had different philosophies on everything.

However, Prinze thought Gellar was too skinny, so he offered to cook for her leading to a weekly barbecue gathering at her house with his cousins and her friends. This was the beginning of their friendship.

In January 2000, they had a fumbled dinner date, which transitioned into a relationship. Despite the accidental first date, the couple became engaged in 2001 and had a destination wedding in September 2002.

In 2002, they also starred as Fred and Daphne in "Scooby-Doo" and "Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed" in 2004. Prinze and Gellar revealed that because they started as friends first, it has helped their relationship over the years.

When asked about the key to a happy marriage, Prinze said they still make each other laugh, which was a critical factor. Today, they share two kids, and their relationship is growing stronger.

Gellar and Prinze welcomed their first child, Charlotte Grace, on September 19, 2009, and she is walking in her parents' footsteps. Charlotte, who loves boxing, made her performing debut in 2016 when she starred as baby Simba in "The Lion King."

They welcomed their youngest child, Rocky James, on September 20, 2012. Like his sister, he loves boxing and skateboarding but is not a fan of his parents showing him PDA.

Prinze once revealed that even though they are strict with their children, they ensure the kids grow up to be kind to others. Gellar said:

"We talk to our children all the time, and I always say that I don't care if they're the smartest in the class, I don't care if they're the fastest, I care that they're kind."

The couple also prefers to keep the kids' lives away from the spotlight. Prinze also said that the children could follow in their footsteps, but that would happen only when they turn 18 because they are not trying to make money off their kids.
