Destiny Odom Is a Model Who Already Made Her Fashion Show Debut - Lamar Odom's Daughter’s Pursuit of Success

Former NBA star Lamar Odom's only daughter Destiny Odom is now a beautiful young woman, and she is determined to break into the fashion world as a model.

Destiny Odom is a determined and talented young lady who has grown up in very difficult circumstances due to her father, Lamar Odom's fame. Being the daughter of an NBA star player turned out not to be an advantage and brought Destiny nothing but pain.

Almost a decade after her father's heyday, Destiny has parlayed her unwanted notoriety into a shot at the life she wants and the dream she has been fighting for since she was a little girl: Becoming a model.

Destiny Odom was born on August 6, 1998, to NBA icon Lamar Odom and his long-time girlfriend, Liza Morales. She is their oldest child and only daughter. When Destiny was four, the couple welcomed their second child, Lamar Odom Jr.

Then, on December 15, 2005, another son, Jayden Odom, was born. Tragically, little Jayden passed away just six months later, and his death devastated his parents and siblings-especially Destiny, who was then eight years old.

Destiny Odom is a young woman with big dreams, but with her strength, and her father by her side, there is nothing she can't achieve.

The baby's death was the end of Liza and Lamar's relationship, and in 2009 the NBA player married Khloe Kardashian. Having a reality star as a stepmom brought more media attention to Destiny and her little brother.

Destiny Odom Once Blamed Herself for Her Dad's Issues

Tragedy piled on tragedy as Lamar's grief led to substance abuse and a downward spiral into addiction. Destiny admitted that as a child, she used to worry that she was to blame for her father's problems. After a crisis in 2015, the family staged an intervention. Destiny

:

"I gave him an ultimatum that was basically: rehab or me not speaking to him anymore."

Lamar rallied, got help, and today he has an excellent nurturing and supportive relationship with his daughter. She has confided that he is the one she calls for advice when making an important decision. Lamar has become the father Destiny always needed.

Destiny Odom Fought to Chase Her Dreams despite Family Drama

Destiny's passion has always been fashion, and she is determined that it will be part of her life. She will attend college courses in fashion and journalism, but she also dreams of walking the runways.

Fashion and beauty are not Destiny's only dreams. She also wants to work towards helping other people who have had to deal with similar family tragedies. Instead of breaking her, the problems she has faced have empowered Destiny.

The courageous young woman is determined to share the strength and resilience she has learned from watching her father overcome his problems and help others to conquer their challenges.

Destiny Odom Had Her Father by Her Side When She Made Her Dream Come True

The aspiring model moved to Los Angeles to live with her father and break into modeling. A glimpse of Destiny's Instagram shows her perfect figure and heart-stopping beauty. In September 2022, Destiny had her first fashion show.

Destiny walked the runway at the "Couture Fighting Cancer 2nd Annual Fashion Show." Her father was there to cheer her on as she showed her moves in a stunningly daring sequined black halter-neck dress. Destiny said:

"Connecting with this show made sense. I have connections to cancer, my grandmother passed from it, my dad's mother and my uncle got it."

Destiny has confessed that she is inspired by supermodels Naomi Campbell and Iman. Destiny Odom is a young woman with big dreams, but with her strength, and her father by her side, there is nothing she can't achieve.
