Stacy Is the Oldest Daughter of Dick Van Dyke
Stacy's birth year can be estimated to be between 1955 and 1956, considering that she was 23 years old in 1979. Additionally, she is the eldest daughter of four siblings. Her siblings are Christian, Carrie, and Barry Van Dyke.

However, their marriage had its fair share of challenging and bittersweet moments. Margie suffered a miscarriage of twins; despite this, she gave birth to four children. She became a loving mother, but Dick had a different experience.
Despite his attempts to be a good parent, Dick struggled with alcoholism, which he realized was a similar mistake to that of his own father. However, Margie later struggled with antidepressant problems.
After overcoming their issues, Dick and Margie seemed to have seamlessly sailed through their family life. They moved to a ranch in Scottsdale, where Stacy attended school.

However, cracks in Dick and Margie's union became visible as they drifted apart, with Dick allegedly having an affair with Michelle Triola. This led to their divorce in 1984.
Margie died in 2007 at the age of 80 after battling pancreatic cancer. Dick revealed in his 2016 memoir "Keep Moving" that despite their divorce, he admitted that a part of himself was lost after her passing.
