Becoming parents for the first time is a special feeling that many people experience in their lives. It introduces a new purpose in their lives while humbling them as they start caring for tiny human beings.

One such couple welcomed their baby boy five months ago but recently experienced something unusual. The 28-year-old mother took to social media to ask netizens for their opinions about the situation.

The mother, with the username Electric_Angels, discussed the incident on Reddit. She said, "I recently had mine and my husband's first child - a little boy who is now five months old. Our baby is amazing, and we are so in love with him."

After introducing herself in the post without revealing her name, the woman said she and her husband did not allow anyone except their parents to see their baby. Five months after welcoming the little one, they decided to host a party so everyone could meet the baby, unaware that it would not end as they had hoped. The woman explained:

"We didn't want to be overrun with visitors, but decided to host a BBQ this weekend so some more extended family and friends could meet the baby."

As expected, all the guests were excited to see the couple's baby. The woman spent some time with the guests until her baby got hungry. She recalled, "At one point, I took the baby inside for his lunch. I am nursing him at the moment, so I went to his nursery so we could have some privacy. As most people were in the backyard, I thought that this would be a quiet spot for the two of us."

What Happened Next?

While feeding her little one, the woman did not realize that her best friend's husband had entered the house to use the bathroom. She added that the nursery was not near the bathroom, but the 29-year-old man opened the nursery room and saw her.

"He was quite shocked and fumbled his words a little bit before closing the door and leaving," the mother said. Although she didn't like that her best friend's husband invaded her privacy, she didn't make a fuss or complain about it. She said:

"It is what it is, and I thought it was over."

After feeding her son, the woman left the house to rejoin everyone in the backyard. Everyone else was unaware of what had happened behind back in the house. "I was surprised to see that my best friend and her husband had left," she recalled.

Then, the Redditor's husband told her that her best friend's husband walked out of the house in anger and "reprimanded" him because OP (Original Poster) was "exposing" herself and "acting inappropriately in front of guests."

Upon listening to the man's words, the woman's husband was shocked. He had no idea what had happened inside the house, and before he could ask more, the man held his wife's hand and abruptly left the party, grabbing the other guests' attention.

How Did the Woman's Best Friend React?

Later that day, the new parents were invited to a group chat where the woman's best friend was also present. Her best friend's husband created the group chat to express his opinion regarding what had happened.

In the chat, her best friend's husband said she should have fed her baby in a healthy way instead of what she did that day. He also accused her of something that shocked the couple. The woman shared what he said in the group chat:

"He could not believe how I had exposed myself to him today when I knew he was happily married."

After reading the man's messages, the young mother contacted her best friend but did not get any response. Meanwhile, her husband believed the man had lost his mind. After thinking about the entire situation, the woman posted her story on Reddit to ask people if she should have used a bottle to feed her baby.

Responding to her post in the comments section, most Reddit users told the woman she was not at fault. They blamed her best friend's husband for walking into the nursery unannounced and accusing her of wrongly feeding her child in a private space. One Redditor said:

"This guy is an untrustworthy snake and should not be allowed into your home without a full heartfelt apology and correction of what happened to everyone there AT MINIMUM."

Another netizen supported the woman, saying it was the man's fault that he saw her breastfeeding her baby because he was "wandering around the house and snooping."
