School Boys Bullied Poor Boy Day by Day – School Bus Driver Steps in to Help the Boy Out
- A high school student faced severe bullying on the bus, but the bus driver ignored it.
- He recalled being surrounded by more than ten boys at once but couldn't ask anyone for help.
- One day, the boy decided to talk to the driver, hoping it would make him stop the other students from bullying him. Little did he know that his plan would work in no time.
A Redditor with the username "ionTrapping" posted his story in the r/pettyrevenge subreddit to share how he once stopped his bullies from harassing him through a simple trick. The Puerto Rico resident recalled the incident that took place over 12 years ago, stating that he lived in an impoverished town back then.
He shared that the residents of his town were mainly poor and had a conservative mindset. They did not accept new ideas or appreciate when they saw someone achieve something big in life.

The man shared that he was a bright student who always got good grades, but society never appreciated his hard work because of his family's status. He said the people around him thought he should have been a failure because his family was uneducated and poor.
While in his senior year of high school, his good academic score led him to an internship. He recalled, "I was allowed to only study part-time and work part-time as a receptionist at a veterinary clinic."
What Happened after the Boy Got the Internship Offer?
Once the boy's schoolmates learned he had landed an internship because of his good grades, they began bullying him out of jealousy. The man shared that most students didn't have grades good enough to lead them to an internship opportunity.

When the boy told his father about the harassment he faced while traveling on the bus, they decided to visit the bus driver's house to talk to him. The driver also owned the bus line, so the boy's father thought it would help if they told him about the bullying.
However, telling the driver about the incident was useless because the bullying continued, and he didn't intervene. "I was so afraid and nervous I honestly thought I was going to be physically injured from facing my bullies," the Redditor recalled.

The boy felt scared when his bullies, over ten boys, used to surround him on the bus while passing mean remarks and throwing things at him. They wanted him to react, but the boy was too afraid to do anything.
One day, he devised a plan that could save him from his bullies. He recalled, "I thought to myself: 'I can capitalize on me being shy, silent, and highly intelligent.'" The boy thought he could make the bus driver believe that he would hurt the boys on the bus if the bullying continued.

That day, the boy got on the bus and told the driver he would "do something" if the boys continued bullying him the next day. He intimidated the bus driver by saying that the authorities would hold him responsible if something unfortunate happened on the bus because he was the only adult present. "You'll regret it," the boy warned the driver.
How Did the Bus Driver React?
The following day, the students got on the bus like every other day and began bullying the boy. Suddenly, the driver stopped the bus in the middle of the road and started shouting at the boy's bullies. Screaming as loud as he could, the man threatened to kick the bullies out of the bus and told them they would never find another ride.

"That did it, no more bullying. Thanks God," the Redditor recounted. Before ending his post, the man shared that he had no plans to hurt anyone and didn't have anything to defend himself. He stated:
"I just used psychological warfare to defend myself."
The man's Reddit post has since been upvoted over 800 times. Other Redditors shared their thoughts regarding the story in the comments section, and most people praised the man for taking action.
