Jane Seymour has four children from two marriages, who are now all adults. Two of her kids are twins whom she gave birth to under grave circumstances.
Seymour has been married four times, and her first husband was theatre director Michael Attenborough. The pair wed in 1971 and divorced in 1973.

Four years after her first marriage ended, Seymour married author George Planer in 1977. However, their union was short-lived, as they split in 1978. The English actress walked down the aisle for the third time when she wed businessman David Flynn in 1981. A year later, they welcomed their first child together, daughter Katherine Flynn, in January 1982.
Seymour and David expanded their family when they had their second child, son Sean Flynn, three years later in July 1985. But their marriage ended in 1992.

Seymour tried her luck at love for the fourth time when she married actor and filmmaker James Keach a year later in 1993. She became a mom for the third and fourth time when the couple welcomed their twin sons, Kristopher and John Keach, in November 1995.
But after 22 years of marriage, the pair divorced in 2015 and split their assets. By that period, Seymour and James' children were already young adults. Later on, the actress would open up about her road to motherhood.
Seymour revealed during an interview on ITV's "Loose Women," in March 2018 that she conceived her youngest kids, Kristopher and John, when she was 45 through IVF. The "Harry Wild" alum, who had suffered several miscarriages before then, divulged she was cautioned about her pregnancy with the twins because she had them at a late stage in her life.
She was diagnosed with preeclampsia "quite late" into her pregnancy, and her sons were born six weeks early. Seymour underwent an emergency C-section to have her children, and three days later, she realized what might have happened to her, revealing:
"I nearly died having them."

The newborns also almost lost their lives during childbirth. Seymour and James took their bundles of joy home a few days after being hospitalized. However, while at home, the kids struggled to adjust.
The youngest, John, "turned blue twice," Seymour disclosed. He and his older brother Kristopher could not swallow and breathe on their own and only managed to do that later. For the first four months, they were strapped with heart monitors 24/7.

Seymour admitted that it was a "really, really scary" experience while hinting that having children at a late stage is anything but easy. Still, she expressed being "glad" that she had her boys.
Asked if she had any advice about having kids later in life, the mother of four said she would advise women to freeze their eggs if they have not found a partner by then or explore other options.

Generally, Seymour prioritizes motherhood above everything else. Even her children know that she would choose her family over any role. The family matriarch once admitted:
"I don't know if I'm a great [mom]. I'm the best [mom] I know how to be."
When speaking about being a parent, Seymour explained that it is all about listening, communicating, caring for her offspring, and being involved in their lives.

She was a present mother when her sons and daughter were growing up and took them along when she had to work in different locations. Seymour also made some sacrifices when choosing which roles to accept, especially gigs that would keep her away from her kids for too long.
She said that although her children know how much she loves her career, they also know how much she is a family-oriented woman. The actress has been open about her family life, often sharing stories and details about her kids.
Seymour named her sons Kristopher and John, who have ginger hair, after fellow Hollywood stars. In a September 2013 interview, she revealed that her youngest kids are named after country singer-songwriter Johnny Cash and the late actor and filmmaker Christopher Reeve.

"Christopher knew I was pregnant and loved the boys. Johnny became a really good friend when I did 'Dr Quinn,'" the television star explained. Kristopher and John are now 27 years old. Their famous mother often posts photos of them together on social media.

In July 2019, Seymour went out to a baseball game with Kristopher (a baseball player) and John. She posted a picture of them posing in the field. "I enjoy their differences," said one person in the comments section.
That same year, in November, Seymour paid a birthday tribute to her sons on Instagram and shared a photo of her posing between them wearing a sequin gown while they sported tuxedos.
One person commented on the social upload and mentioned Kristopher and John look fairly different. "They don't look like twins!" wrote one follower.

She also paid homage to them in November 2022 when they celebrated their birthday again and expressed love and admiration for them. The doting mom posted a photo of her and her sons, and one social media user commented, "Wow! Opposites."
In October 2023, Seymour shared on her Instagram account that she spent "quality time" with her two children, who are taller than her, and posted a snapshot posing with them. Someone commented on the post: "Are [they] your brothers?"

John followed in his famous parents' footsteps. The actor is known for appearing in the 2006 movie, "Blind Dating," alongside Seymour and Chris Pine. In November 2020, his mother revealed that they had been filming together in Spain, adding he is also into music. They spent time together, painting and enjoying the music he had created.
In that same post, Seymour divulged that her older twin son, Kristopher, was pursuing an MBA and had married his wife, Miso. He also worked for her as an assistant at the time.

Kristopher and John have not only spent a lot of time with their beloved mother, but they have also played a part in getting her a romantic partner. Seymour is currently dating musician John Zambetti, and they went Instagram official in October 2023.
That same month, the red-haired revealed that her children and Zambetti's kids set them up together. Her beau hinted that it was a relief because they did not have to worry about getting approvals from them. "I'm very lucky to be with her," Zambetti admitted.
