Mother Gets Terrifying Call From Her 13-Year-Old Son

A heartbroken mother has revealed the gut-wrenching moment her son called in sheer panic while she and her husband could do nothing but listen in horror.

A peaceful Monday evening turned into a living nightmare for one British family — when a 13-year-old boy screamed down the phone to his mother that he was being attacked by a masked gang.

Now, the boy's mum, 33, is reliving the chilling moment she received the call that no parent ever wants to get.

Gang of Knifemen Descend on Aldi Parking Lot

It was just after 7:40 p.m. on Monday, November 24, when the teen met two friends outside the Aldi on Lorenzo Drive in Norris Green. But within moments, their ordinary night spiraled into terror.

According to the mum, who has chosen to remain anonymous, three masked youths "armed with knives" approached the boys and demanded their electric bikes.

Her son and his friends had two e-bikes between them — and the gang wanted them. "They showed them knives and demanded their bikes," she said.

'Watch When I Get You': Gang Member Allegedly Swung Knife at Teen

In an act of desperation, the 13-year-old threw his bike at the gang and ran for his life. But that wasn't the end.

"One of the lads got on the bike and said, 'Watch when I get you,' and started waving his arms about trying to slash him," the mother revealed. What came next was every parent's worst nightmare.

'I Thought He Was Dying on the Phone'

"My son was just shouting down the phone saying someone was trying to stab him," she said. "The worst part of it was, when he was on the phone, [my husband and I] just felt helpless. All we could hear was him breathing, shouting, 'They're trying to stab me.'"

"I honestly thought he was dying while on the phone to me," she shared. Thankfully, her son managed to escape. When the parents finally reached him, he was "shaking." His two friends also escaped unharmed.

Police Launch Urgent Appeal

Merseyside Police have confirmed they are investigating the robbery and are urging anyone with information to come forward.

Authorities are particularly interested in hearing from any witnesses who may have seen the gang near the Aldi on Lorenzo Drive around the time of the attack.
