Kevin Crane appears to have gone out of character in the latest incident. The realtor walked into his ex-wife’s place of work and shot her.

According to Pop Culture, the incident occurred at a mall on March 17, 2018. Crane then turned the gun on himself in an attempt to end his life.

Crane, 33, walked into the stationary store where Parisa Siddiqi, 29, worked and shot her. She died from her wounds, but Crane didn’t and was said to be in critical condition.

According to Daily Mail, the couple had two young children who were not present at the time. As the gunshots rang out, California Mall patrons ran for cover.

After the incident, the store where Siddiqi worked posted a note on their door revealing how sad they were about losing her. Crane has been working as a Beverly Hills realtor for some time.

But he had claimed to have worked as a child actor for Disney, as well as in the film The Little Giants. His name did not appear in the credits for that film but he may have been an extra.

‘All of us at Paper Source are sadden(ed) by the loss (of) our beloved colleague and team member. Our thoughts and prayers are with her family, and most of all her two children, through this difficult time.’

Siddiqi had filed for divorce from Crane in January of 2016 according to court records. The divorce was finalized and the marriage dissolved in February of 2017.

In December of 2017, Siddiqi posted a holiday picture of herself and Crane with their children on Facebook. It appeared to be recent but she did not comment on the post.

Investigators found no prior history of domestic violence reports or restraining orders between the couple. They also stated that they had found no criminal record for Crane.

Crane's California realtor license record showed no complaints or disciplinary actions against him.

He reportedly had no past history of domestic violence, and friends close to the family were shocked to hear about what happened. ‘We have known each other for a long time and I will never forget your beautiful smile and your contagious laugh,’ one friend of Siddiqi wrote on Facebook.

The friend added that the mother-of-two had been taken way too early and that their heart went out to Siddiqi's family and her boys at this time.
