Missing teen alert: 15-year-old girl disappeared. Police share her details and ask for help

A child's safety is always a top priority, especially for its parents, who would try and do anything to keep it safe. But, sometimes, that proves to be impossible.

On March 21, 2018, Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety received a call from a very scared and concerned mother, who is yet to be identified, claiming that her daughter, Anna Mae Taylor, was missing.

Brenton Harbor's Police Department was told that the 15-year-old had been seen for the last time around 12:20 p.m. on that day, as reported by Faith Family America.

The investigators have no leads so far, but they did share the description of the girl, which was provided by her mother during the distressed phone call on Wednesday.

Taylor is about 4"11 and weighs 112 pounds. Her eyes are brown and she had long brown hair. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a pair of blue jeans with holes in them and gray leggings underneath.

According to the source, she also had a gray t-shirt and a blue jacket with a fur-lined collar. Despite the descriptive clothing items, she was most easily identified by the golden cross necklace that she wore.

Another feature that might be helpful when it comes to recognizing the teenager is her piercings. Her mother said that her daughter had her nose pieced, as well as two earrings in the upper part of her ears.

None of her friends saw her, and neither did she contact them. Now, those same friends, who, much like Taylor's mother, are yet to be identified, are working along with her family to find her whereabouts.

As reported by Faith Family America, The Benton Harbor Department of Public Safety has considered the 15-year-old's disappearance as 'suspicious.' They are currently working with the Michigan Police Major Crimes Unit to crack the case.
