Neighbor reveals a drastic change in Matt Lauer's look after getting dumped by his friends

The disgraced former Today anchor is looking unhealthy now that he lost almost everything.

As reported by Inquistr, Matt Lauer's neighbors claimed that the 60-year-old looks like he's aged and lost weight since his firing from the Today show due to the alleged sexual misconduct in November 2017.

Those allegations cost Lauer his $25 million-a-year job at NBC. He was once the network's highest-paid TV news host.

According to sources, the television news anchor is looking rough now that he lost his job and his marriage to Annette Roque.

Billy Joel and Howard Stern, who have had their issues in the past, are reportedly keeping their distance as well because their wives don't want them to hang out with him.

Lauer didn't make any public appearances in months. His Hamptons neighbors said that they only catch glimpses of him and that he clearly avoids all interactions.

“He just looks very, very sad. He used to be so friendly and chatty, just like he was on TV. Now he keeps his head down. You can tell he’s not really in the best place," one neighbor said. Other neighbors added that Lauer looks like he's aged 10 years and that he's thin.

The Hamptons neighbors also stated that they no longer see Lauer and Roque together anymore. They usually see him by himself.

The former couple seemed to have traded places. While Lauer stayed out of the spotlight, his estranged wife was traveling and was even spotted having meals out with her friends. Roque also made trips back to her native Holland.

Recently, Lauer's portrait was scrubbed from the wall of The Palm, a popular steakhouse, because his sex scandal was too controversial for the portrait gallery of the eatery.

Some sources revealed that Lauer decided to hide in the Hamptons and that he definitely regrets his behavior.
