Serena Williams, 36, shares intimate life moments about her pregnancy in a new video
36-year-old sporting superstar, Serena Williams gave birth to her daughter Alexis Olympia - whom she has with her husband Alexis Ohanian - in September last year. She reveals in an upcoming documentary that she was scared for her career when she learned he was pregnant. As the Daily Mail reports, the tennis star thought her tennis days were over.
In a trailer for the HBO documentary series - Being Serena - that she shared on her Instagram page, Serena says; 'When I realized that I was pregnant, I was like, "Oh my God. How am I going to play?" Even though she wasn’t sure of what the future held, Serena went on to give birth to her firstborn and play her first pro match this year. She says more in the trailer: 'I don't know if there's anything left for me in tennis. But I'm not done yet.'
Even though her first pregnancy put her out of the game for over a year, the tennis champion told ET Online she would like to have more kids with her Reddit co-founder husband.
'I definitely want two [kids], God willing. But right now, I want tennis as well. So, I'm going to wait and see what happens. It's definitely not easy. I have this undying drive to be the best that I can be. Whether it's [being] a mom or playing tennis or doing my designing. I just want to do the best that I can.'
The mother of one reported that the last six months have been amazing and that motherhood comes naturally to her. ‘I love it. I love her so much. We have a great little family going on.'
