'Good Morning America' anchor steals the show with a new eye-catching outfit

The co-anchor of Good Morning America received tons of compliments for the outfit she wore during a controversial segment.

Lara Spencer showed that she’s not only good at hosting, but she knows a thing or two about fashion as well.

Spencer received praises on social media for the outfit she wore during one episode of the hit morning show.

As shared by Entertainment Daily, she wore a black embellished sweater and matched it with yellow skinny jeans. For her footwear, she opted for gray split front heels.

The 48-year-old host shared a photo of herself wearing the outfit on Instagram. She can be seen cuddling a French Bulldog puppy on the set of Good Morning America.

The snap was taken a little while after her controversial segment about the most popular dog breeds in the states.

A lot of fans gushed over the cute puppy and there were also others who asked Spencer to share the details of her ensemble.

Spencer hosted a segment featuring the country’s top five most desirable dog breeds on March 28, 2018.

The set was filled with adorable dogs running around with their owners together with Spencer.

Alongside her was Gina DiNardo, an executive of American Kennel Club, which is a registry of purebred dog pedigrees in the United States.

DiNardo thanked the show for inviting her as their guest and Spencer replied, "Thanks for bringing dogs! I'm so happy."

The executive went on to describe the personality traits of several dogs that make them so lovable.

She discussed the traits of bulldogs, French bulldogs, golden retrievers, German shepherds, and Labradors, as handlers showcased adults and puppies from each breed.

The segment sparked debate on social media. There were fans and viewers who thought of the segment as cute and sweet, but there were others who criticized the show for promoting buying dogs from breeders.

They said the preferable choice is to adopt dogs from shelters.
