Corey Feldman shows off his knife wound after being brutally attacked by a stranger
The 46-year-old former child-star and singer, Corey Feldman, is most famously known for his roles in Gremlins and The Goonies.
On March 28, 2018, Feldman claimed that he was pulled from his vehicle and stabbed with an unknown object. He shared details of the attack on social media.
Two days later, he shared photos of the 'world's smallest knife wound' with his 30,000 Instagram followers and 48,000 Facebook followers.
As reported by ET Online, Feldman drove himself to the hospital after the attack and believes that he is being targeted because he speaks out against pedophilia in the entertainment industry.
Feldman explained in the caption that his attackers 'used some sort of sharp weapon. He remarked that if it was a knife, he 'got very lucky,' but added it was probably a syringe.
The LAPD confirmed that Feldman was 'jabbed with an unknown object.' The spokesperson added that there were no lacerations and that his 'injuries were unknown at the time.'
On March 31, 2018, Feldman said on Twitter that there 'is a witness and possible surveillance footage' of the attack.
He also expressed his concerns for not knowing whether he 'was injected with a deadly disease of untraceable poison.' He admitted that the thought terrified him.
His fans took to social media to show their support. A user known only as Silent Noise said it looked like a needle wound and hoped that Feldman recovers.
Feldman's followers can look forward to his upcoming film projects. He was cast as Queeny in the 2018 film, Corbin Nash, which will be released later this year.
He is also currently filming The Sunday Night Slaughter. The anthology horror film will be released on December 31, 2018. Feldman portrays the part of James Diamond
