The reality star impresses after having maintained her size 4 figure since achieving it a year ago.

It’s been one year since Mama June Shannon surprised followers on the finale of the first season of her show ‘From Not to Hot’ with her amazing 300-pound weight loss, slimming down to a size 4 from a size 18 on March 2017.  Now a year later, the 38-year-old reality star proudly reveals her still slim figure after consistently eating healthy and exercising regularly, according to a report by Radar Online

In a photo she shared on her Instagram a week ago, the proud mother of Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson flaunted her trim figure in a tight blue tee shirt affirming her success at maintaining the weight she worked hard to achieve.

Season 2 of her show witnessed how she struggled to keep from gaining back the weight she lost after a series of surgeries and hard work. At the start of the season last year when she was already sporting her brand new “revenge body,” Mama June revealed how it felt losing all the weight.

“I’ve worked my ass off, working out, eating healthy and now it’s like everything’s coming full circle and I’m becoming the person on the outside that I’ve felt like I was on the inside.”

She also admitted that though she first intended to lose weight to make her ex-boyfriend Sugar Bear Thompson jealous, it later became less about revenge and more personal for her.

“…it’s no longer about revenge. Doing all the surgeries really took a toll on me—not just physically, but emotionally."

She also recalled how she could hardly “wipe my own a**,” after the weight loss surgery. But with her hard work and determination, she even managed to pose in Marilyn Monroe fashion racently.

And with her physical and emotional well-being in check, she also found new love in the arms of her new boyfriend Geno Doak.

Meanwhile, she continues to inspire others as she dares to keep challenging herself to stay the course when her show returns in June.
