Family abandons their dog for good. Dog´s reaction becomes viral in social media

After the pictures went viral, thousands of people were shocked to see how the animal was reacting to its new reality.

Many people abandon dogs to their own devices, but other owners prefer to just drop them at the nearest pound available to them. In both cases, the dog will never be happy with it.

According to La Voz de la Madre Tierra, a photo of a dog left at a California animal shelter has broken the heart of thousands of people.

According to Metro, in the video, the dog, four-year-old Electra, could be seen in a distressed state at the Inland Valley Humane Society in Pomona, California.

The same outlet explained that the dog had been dumped at the shelter on May 17, 2018, and was filmed while she was in one of the pens.

Shelter volunteer Lolys Menchaka posted a video on her Facebook account noticing how sad the lovely dog looked and it has been viewed more than 335,000 times.

‘Electra represents the face of sadness and reality in the shelters,’ the shelter volunteer wrote.

She also wrote that sometimes she would like to understand owners surrendering their animals, claiming that although she doesn't want to judge them, she doesn't get it.

'I don’t like to judge them, but when you see how the dogs come to the receiving department with their happy faces and they stand all proud I just can’t understand,' she added.

However, not everything was ultimately bad for this lovely creature. According to The Sun, the pit bull was taken in by a family she is already settling in well after being adopted.

News revealed the lady who went to get her identified herself as Ms. Tan, who, after hearing the news of Electra, rushed herself to the pound because “we were afraid she was going to be put down."

With the help of Ms. Tan and her now-adopted family, Electra escaped the shelter to her new home in Rancho Sante Fe, in San Diego.
