Having children is a very big responsibility and it can be quite stressful. Parents should always make sure that their offspring are safe and sound.

Antonio Sabato Jr. recently proved that he was up to the task of being a father. On Monday morning, April 16, 2018, the actor rushed his son, Antonio Sabato III, to the nearest hospital.

The 7-year-old was playing in the garden when he was stung by a bee and had a severe allergic reaction. Thanks to his father's quick response, he was able to get medical treatment, as reported by the Inquisitr.

It is every parent's nightmare to see their children get hurt, but for Sabato, everything went well. While at the hospital, the actor took to Twitter to share the news with his fans and followers.

He took and posted a photo of himself with his son sleeping in the background, wrapped in hospital sheets. The picture was uploaded in the middle of the afternoon, around 4:30 p.m.

According to the source, it isn't certain but the boy might have been treated at St. John's Pleasant Valley Hospital, in Camarillo, California, since it is the only hospital in the area.

The 46-year-old has two other children from previous relationships: 23-year-old Jack Sabato and 15-year-old Mina Bree Sabato. Jack was born when his father was dating Virginia Madsen, while Mina is Sabato and Kristin Rossetti's daughter.

As reported by the Inquisitr, the former General Hospital actor divorced Cheryl Moana Marie, whom he wed in 2012, in 2016, which led to very nasty divorce proceedings, especially regarding joint custody of Sabato III.

Marie accused the actor of drug abuse, which he admitted to having done in the past and claiming that he had been clean for years. Despite the accusations, Sabato saw the joint custody be granted later on.
