Jamie Lee Curtis, 59, proves she's an ageless beauty as she flashes her fit body in a red suit
Jamie Lee Curtis is all of 59 years but we at AmoMama find it hard to believe. As The Daily Mail reports, this ageless beauty has put the clock on pause and looks as good as she did 20 years ago.
Before showing a sneak peek of Halloween, the latest film in the fright fest franchise, Jamie Lee Curtis warned that it was ‘hella scary.’ Variety revealed that the shrieks from seasoned theater owners in the auditorium at the Caesars Palace Colosseum were clearly audible outside the venue.
59-year-old Curtis looked elegant in a red pantsuit that embraced her trim frame perfectly and showed just how youthful she looked at her age. Curtis told the audience that it was an honor to play Laurie Strode, the role that made her a scream queen and put her solidly on Hollywood’s A-list since 1978. She also explained jokingly that the scarier bit was her playing the same role 40-years later.
'Except for Star Wars, I can’t think of another movie where the same actor is playing the same part 40 years later. It will scare the living s*** out of you.'
The icon revealed that the first movie, Halloween I of 1978 was so low budget that the crew had to put their creative juices to work to make the William Shatner mask that gave actor Nick Castle his signature scary look as killer Michael Myers. Halloween II followed in 1981, then Halloween III: Season Of The Witch in 1982. The next installation was Halloween: Resurrection in 2002.
The final part of the sequel which is due in October finds Laurie, a reclusive grandmother, still traumatized by her encounters with the killer but praying to get one more chance at him. Myers escapes prison and Laurie gets her wish but not before he racks up a massive body count, ingeniously disposing of the bodies.
