Woman weighed more than 600 pounds. 2 years later, she looks unrecognizable

At age 34, Webster weighed more than 600 pounds. She got to a point where it was really a challenge to go through her everyday life.

As reported by Relieved, Webster appeared on the TV show My 600lb Life, where she shared the struggle she was facing with her body because of deeply rooted bad dieting habits. Even though she knew she was making herself ill, she couldn’t stop doing it wrong.

"My weight is debilitating. My body is so painful; I hate it. But I say this to myself: ‘Food is an addiction to me and my addiction is killing me," she said.

Before making the decision to really do something about her condition, Webster was unable to walk, bathe, or even stand. More than that, her own life was at risk. Fortunately, she acted timely.

Webster agreed to move from Arizona to Texas to be close to Dr. Nowzaradan, a weight loss surgeon who had an experience with morbidly obese operations.

The surgery would certainly help Webster, but prior to that, she had to lose at least 50 pounds on her own.

Webster had already made up her mind about doing what it takes to recover her health. Within three months, she lost a significant amount of weight.

After having taken that step, Webster was approved for a gastric sleeve. But she was worried about the surgical procedure during that time.

"Earlier this year, my best friend Michael had a gastric bypass, and he died. That haunts me," she said.

But Webster knew she was in a point of no return and she found the courage to go on.

It soon proved to be the right choice for Webster as she lost as much as 207 pounds within a year. Not only she was disciplined with her diet, she also consulted a therapist to understand her eating behavior.

Webster was impressed by what she had achieved after so much time believing she was hopeless. After losing 348 pounds, she underwent a skin removal surgery.

Webster experienced complications and had to go to surgery for the third time. Luckily, she managed to get through it with no major setbacks.

Webster returned home weighing 236 pounds but she didn’t stop there. She then managed to reduce her weight to 192 pounds.
