24-year-old Kaylee Bonnet made a miraculous weight loss of over 169 pounds after gaining as much as 481 pounds at one point in time.

Good House Keeping wrote that Bonnet, who is 5 feet 9 inches tall, used to get a lot of abusive remarks from children as well as adults every time she walked out in public.

She further explained that people's sneer had made her constantly defensive, and she even stopped going outside her home alone.

Bonnet has always been overweight from her early childhood. She weighed 300 pounds in her high school and was a victim of constant teasing. She also had very few friends

"From worrying about if I'll fit in this chair or if the chair will hold me, to trying to look nice and hoping that getting from point A to B doesn't make me sweat my hair and makeup off, I was constantly on the defense," the source quoted Bonnet as revealing.

In her mid-20's, Bonnet was already pre-diabetic and suffering from high blood pressure. She had been warned by her doctors that unless she checked her weight, she would suffer a heart attack or stroke.

It turned out to be a wakeup call for Bonnet as she then decided that she had to lose weight. "You don't get to go through life being 481 pounds," she explained.

After consulting her doctor, she was told to lose at least 30 to 40 pounds of weight in order to get a gastric bypass surgery. Bonnet then went on a strict diet to cut back on calories. She followed a high-protein, low-carb diet, and walked every day.

When the time came for her surgery in October 2016, she had already lost over 77 pounds in less than five months.

After her surgery, she continued to cut down on her diet and make major changes to her lifestyle. She was 169 pounds less than her highest weight. Currently, she is at 312 pounds and is determined by reaching the weight of 225 pounds.
