'Blue Bloods' opens finale episode with the death of a character
The police series started off in a shocking manner for its season finale. A character was shot dead in the opening scenes.
The Blue Bloods episode then focuses on the killer being found. In the end, District Attorney Monica Graham’s death was not in vain according to Blue Bloods’ Twitter account.
Season eight of Blue Bloods started the episode called ‘My Aim is True’ in a way that had its viewer’s shocked. Erin Reagan (Briget Moynahan) and her boss, District Attorney Monica Graham (Tamara Tunie) were seen walking out in the open.
All of a sudden, a gunshot rang out and Graham was seen lying dead on the ground. Commissioner Frank Reagan (Tom Selleck) suspected that the DA was killed by a member of the ‘Prospect Park Six.’
This was a group of men who were wrongly convicted of a crime. The Commissioner believed that one of the men was going on a murder rampage, targeting people he felt were responsible for him spending nine years in prison for a crime he did not commit.
Policeman Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) later suggests that the murders could have been carried out by a hitman hired by one of the men.
‘Happy #BlueBloodsFinale Friday! Tweet to me at 10/9c and lets ride this finale out together w [blue heart love]! Can’t wait til you see how this one ends.’

This turns out to be true and Donnie arrests the man in Miami. Later on, the hitman tries to kill Jamie Reagan (Will Estes), but fails after Eddie Jamko (Vanessa Ray) jumps into action and shoots the man.
Good news follow as Jamie later proposes to Jamko offscreen. She said yes, and then got introduced as the "new Mrs. Reagan" during the Reagan family dinner.
A fan named Marianela Reyes was worried that Graham's death meant a Reagan would be killed next. Another fan named Katy Baker was concerned that the bullet had been intended for Erin.
Karina Vergara was saddened by Erin having to experience Graham dying in her arms. Graham only appeared in seven episodes and was first introduced in 2016.
She previously appeared in the February 2018 episode called ‘School of Hard Knocks.’
