Ervin ‘Magic’ Johnson recently shared a beautiful photo alongside his parents as he traveled to their city in order to celebrate Mother’s day with his beautiful mom. The former baller took the opportunity to send a message to all the special women in his life.
Celebritist was lurking around Magic Johnson’s Instagram account to see what the former Los Angeles Lakers player has been up to these days, and we stumbled with a beautiful family portrait he shared with fans.
The beautiful pic shows Earvin alongside his mother and father, and fans couldn’t help but notice the epic resemblance between Magic and his mother, they’re basically twins.

The trio kept it simple as Magic and his mom wore tracksuits and Mr. Johnson went for a plain t-shirt with a jacket on top and a black hat to complete the look.
Johnson took the chance to send his mom and all the women in his life a very special message, as he wrote in the caption:
‘At home in Lansing, celebrating Mother's Day with my beautiful mother, Christine Johnson. Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful wife, @thecookiej, my mother-in-law, Cora, and all the wonderful mothers celebrating today. I pray you all have a blessed and glorious day!’
The Hall of Fame superstar recently attended The Woman's Philanthropy Fund breakfast, an event organized by the Orange County United Way to raise funds to support several women’s and children’s programs in the city.
Johnson, who has been an HIV/AIDS advocate and motivational speaker for years, gave a presentation on the importance of giving back to the community by investing in children and giving them the opportunity to succeed beyond school.
He said in an official statement that:
‘The Woman's Philanthropy Fund breakfast is a rare event that truly makes a sustained difference in the lives of thousands of families. Orange County United Way's mission to fight for those who can't fight for themselves aligns perfectly with my personal philanthropic mission to provide for underserved communities.’
The fund has raised over $35 million over the last 15 years, and thanks to Magic’s cooperation this year they’re going to be implementing educational programs for people from underserved populations.
We’re sure Magic’s mother is more than proud about the work her son is doing, and we’re glad to know she’s still around to witness all the good Magic is sharing with his community.
Don’t you think Magic and his mother look like twins?
