'AGT' winner Darci Lynne Farmer reveals Simon Cowell puppet while promoting new season
Darci Lynne Farmer, the young artist who took over the world with her ventriloquism act, used her skills to promote the new season of America's Got Talent.
The 13th season of the show premiered at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 29, 2018, but the 13-year-old from Oklahoma stepped on stage two week before to build up some excitement.
With the help of her diva bunny Petunia, the puppet that she used to win the 12th season of America's Got Talent, Farmer performed in front of members of the Television Academy on behalf of NBC's show.
The video of the show was uploaded to Farmer's Youtube channel, where her fans and followers will be able to witness many great moments of her career so far, including her singing opera in Italian with Petunia.
Farmer also made an appearance last week at NBC's Upfront presentation, during which the network was promoting the newest season of America's Got Talent.
The young ventriloquist surprised everyone by walking on stage with a puppet version of Simon Cowell that she used to introduce the real-life one.
Farmer caught people's attention with her ventriloquism act, which earned her a golden buzzer from former Spice Girl Mel B during her audition.
At the time, the singer told Farmer that her act was unique, adorable, brilliant and made her heart melt, which was why she deserved to go straight to the live shows.
After that, Farmer blew away the competition and became known as one of the most talented performers to ever grace the beloved television show, making a name for herself in the entertainment business.
Although she is still very young, Farmer has been on the road with her Darci Lynne and Friends LIVE! national theater tour, which will also pass through Tulsa, in Oklahoma, on August 11, at the famous Brady Theater.
