Hugh Dane, star of Emmy-nominated 'Roc' series, has died at 75
Hugh Dane, the actor who played the famous role of Hank, the security guard, on The Office, passed away at the age of 75.
Although the world has only recently found out about his death, it seems that Dane, who was known as a very cheerful and nice person, drew his last breath on May 16, 2018.
The news of his passing was shared on Facebook by the Inner City Cultural Center, which let everyone know that a gathering would be taking place in order to celebrate the late actor's life.
Dane's death was also confirmed by the friends that he made while in the entertainment business, who took to social media to express their sorrow for one of the finest gentleman in the industry.
Rainn Wilson, who portrayed Dwight Schrute in The Office, posted a short but sweet tribute to his friend, an example that was followed by Steve Carell, who described him as 'a terrific guy'
"RIP Hugh Dane, aka Hank the security guard. He was one of the greats. So kind, funny, talented. We will all miss him."

Although Dane didn't have the most glamorous and fulfilling career that some of the some of the stars in Hollywood do, he was still able to appear in several unforgettable TV shows.
During his 30-year run in front of the cameras, the late 75-year-old, whose cause of death is yet to be revealed, starred in The Office, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and Roc.
Dane started his career in 1989 with the video game It Came from the Desert, but he had other appearances aside from the previously mentioned ones, such as Boy Meets World, Martin, Friends, Sister, Sister, Monk and Girl Meets World.
