Solange Knowles and husband wear near-identical black outfits at the airport
Solange Knowles just brought the house down on her first solo performance of the year at the “Vivid Sydney festival,” that took place at the Sydney Opera House. The singer left the country and flew back home in the company of her husband as they showed off their matching outfits.
Last year she had to cancel several performances because of health issues, and after many inquiries from fans and the media, Solange revealed she was diagnosed with an autonomic disorder, which can affect a person’s heart rate, blood pressure, digestion and body temperature, depending on the diagnosis.
She took part of the year to work on her newest visual art material, and just a few days ago proved just how unstoppable she is while making an incredible performance that celebrated black culture in such an iconic place like the Opera House.
After the performance, her first one in Australia after four years, Solange flew back home in the company of her husband, director Alan Ferguson, and they looked comfy yet stylish in their matching black tracksuits and white sneakers.
The “Don’t Touch My Hair” singer let her hair untied, and she rocked white chic sunglasses and a pair of hoop earrings. Alan, on the other hand, had a hooded sweater and was carrying their bags.
The couple got married in 2014 in a lavish and non-traditional ceremony at the Marigny Opera House in New Orleans, where they arrived on a bike, ditching the usual forms of transportation for a wedding. She was wearing a cream pantsuit but later changed into a white Humberto Leon for Kenzo dress.
Every single one of their 200 guests was instructed to dress in white as well, and the portraits from the wedding turned out looking incredible, as they not only reflect celebration, but also a sense of unity among the couple’s family and friends.
Now that Solange proved herself and her audience that she’s ready to take over the stage once again, we can’t wait to see her next powerful performances through the year.
