'This Is Us' star Chrissy Metz dons a dazzling black gown and sandals during CMT Awards
Chrissy Metz, the actress who stars in the popular TV show This Is Us, was one of the many celebrities who attended the 2018 CMT Awards.
The ceremony, which took place on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee, was particularly special for the artists who managed to take home a trophy, but Metz also had her moment.
The 37-year-old stepped on stage to present the Best Male Video Award category, and she was so proud that she couldn't help but share a photo of the evening with her fans and followers on Instagram.
“You can take the girl out of the country but never the country out of the girl.”

Metz handed the prestigious award to Blake Shelton, who is currently dating Gwen Stefani, for the song I'll Name The Dogs, which also earned the country singer the Best Video of the Year.
But The Voice's coach wasn't the only artist maintaining his winning streak at the ceremony. Carrie Underwood, who has been recovering from a violent fall back in November 2017, won her 18th CMT award for Female Video of the Year.
Her song The Champion, featuring Ludacris, helped her get the upper hand against Carly Pearce, Kelsea Ballerini, Lauren Alaina, Maren Morris and Shelton's ex-wife, Miranda Lambert.
Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, two of the biggest names in country music, were among the nominees for the Duo of the Year Award, but their song, Speak To A Girl, lost to Dan + Shay's Tequila.
Little Big Town and Carly Pearce respectively won Group Video of the Year and Breakthrough Video of the Year, while the Collaborative Video of the Year trophy was awarded to Kane Brown.
