Dad fights back tears after Steve Harvey fulfills daughter's wish

Whether it’s Cinderella, Snow White, Belle from Beauty and the Beast, or another popular Disney character, all little girls have a favorite princess that they dream of being like.

According to Faith Tap, a 5-year-old girl named Bella had the dream of knowing the famous Belle from Beauty and the Beast, so Steve Harvey decided to invite her to join him on another of his shows, Little Big Shots that aired on April 2018.

The little girl knew Harvey for his show, The Steve Harvey Morning Show. What Bella didn’t know was that the 61-year-old actor, daytime talk show host, and award-winning author had a huge surprise planned for her and her family.

In her appearance on the show, Bella was carried onto the stage wearing a long, yellow gown just like Belle wore in the movie. She talked to Harvey about the story of Beauty and the Beast, got to dance and sing, and was even left with more than one special surprise.

During the interview with Harvey, the crowd was impressed with Bella when he asked her, who is her favorite Beauty and The Beast character and why. The answer of the little girl is quite surprising for a 5-year old girl

“Belle, she is nice in the inside, and she is pretty on the outside.” The little girl answered. It is admirable how at such a young girl, she already knows the value of having a pure and beautiful heart.

More than Bella, someone watching in the audience appeared to be happier than she was. Her dad’s eyes tear up in the audience as he watches his little cutie on the stage explaining to Harvey that she likes Belle because she’s pretty on the inside and the outside.

Harvey announced to the little girl that he had a surprise for her, not only could she keep the beautiful dress she was wearing, but also he had arranged a full trip to Disneyland for Bella and her family. Her father was holding back tears as he watched his daughter achieve her dream.

After she left the stage, the little girl was asked about how she felt going to the show, “Guess what,” Bella said. “This was the best part. He let me keep the dress and the crown and the rose and the shoes.”

Bella had several favorite parts of her trip to California. One favorite was the swings at the Santa Monica Pier. Another was her hotel’s pool. Plus, she loved meeting Steve Harvey.

“It was really awesome because I got to see a lot of new people and I got to see Mr. Steve,” Bella said. But, as she continued to talk about Mr. Steve, she confessed a little something. “I did want to touch his mustache,” Bella said. “I didn’t know if it was a real one or fake.”

Overall, she said she loves Mr. Steve and that he is “very handsome.” She also said she wasn’t nervous at all filming her episode, and she even got to learn some cool choreography with the dancers that joined her on stage. Read more on our Twitter account @amomama_usa
